i had a nice day today! met up xy, hx and yl! yl and xy surprised hx and i with cake fr canele! had the barcelona cake which was chocolate flavoured with macaroons at the top! haas note the capsule like tubes on top! they were berry flavoured sauce to squeeze on top of the cake! heehee! the cake was heavenly! and wad's better, i had 1/4 of it! :D:D:D and xy got me a nice namecard holder tooo! :):) hahas. yayyy for nice friends!

after that, we went to K box at marina square! increased my "bank" of chinese songs again! hahas! :) all in all it was a reallly well spent day. :):)

my dear's pretty sad now.. cosa thgs r not really gg his way.. :/ well hang in there ya! and together we'll pray for the best for you! JIAYOU BABY!

had a movie date with my sister today! hahas was super long before we both last went out! my sis's having her attachment now anws. :) yes my baby sis is growing up real quick!! hahaha! :) anws yea we watched a nice movie, and sneaked tako pachi and old chang kee into the theatre. :/ HAHA i bet everyone was like eyeing us cos we prolly filled the entire theatre with those smells. :/ HAHAHA!

anws the movie was nice. watched ghost of girlfriends past! many thgs struck me in the movie. hahas.
the more powerful party is the one who cares less in a relationship. <- somehow find this statement sad, but true. hahas!
love is a risk itself. <- definitely true. hahas love is abt taking risks and setting urself out to get hurt. but true too, but i'd say, a "risky" life is more well lived than a "safe" life. HAHA!
after the movie, my sis and i went to cartel for a late dinner! NEWS: cartel is having 50% off all snacks and coffee after 9pm! and so we had this seafood basket thg along with an orea frappe all for a grand total of 9.60! hahahas! which's super cheap! :)

heehee had a really nice time with my sister today. :))

food post : botak jones @ toa payoh

highly recommended!
went to botak jones at toa payoh (970A toa payoh north)
second visit to botak jones and gotta say i really enjoyed it! it was situated in an industrial park, but rather surprisingly, it had a really good ambience, where there was a brewski bar there too! :) and the food was good, or rather, much better than wad i had the first time when i was there! and i loved the cheese potato side dish! yumyum! and i loved the sauces they have there! or tather, the bottles. they were those tall squeeezie bottles kind that somehow just makes me happy. HAHA! :) we have decided to go back there again for the food, possibly beer, and the other stall there that sells cheap pasta/pizzas. :)

too much foood! roars!

i ate TOO MUCH these few days. hahas and this's cos i have been hanging out alot with my bf. :P food seems to be such a huge, indispensible part of our itinerary. hahas!
fri night: bak kut teh + my fav black sesame with black sesame tangyuan at ah chew desserts! :)
sat: bar chor mee over newspapers and tea over breakfast! hahas! somehow i reallly like this routine with the bf! find it really simple but heartwarming. then it was C-nai at bugis street for lunch. had baked rice! yumyum! THEN we met up with waimun and jingru for dinner. had fish head steamboat for dinner! and it was heavenly! altho the price ended up abit steep. hahahas! :) AFTER THAT, i went BACK to ah chew for mango sago dessert. :/ at the end of the two days, i feel like a huge piece of lard. ROARS!
sun: had ding tai feng with the bf again for dinner. yumyum! had my fav fried rice with pork chop, mushroom noodles and 5x2 xiao long baos! wahahs ROARS! too much food again! tho damn nice. :)
anws i broke my own record. visited the IT fair TWICE this year. hahaas both with the bf. bought nothing, but the bf bought this new electronic thing that allows him to load dl-ed shows str to watch on tv, and a new hdd today. hahas it was fairly entertaining and fun to go on the last day. everyone's majorly slashing prices and there are so many ppl ard trying to grab last minute deals. hahaa! ended up quite fun! yup and i have become so IT savvy aft immersing myself in IT stuff these two days............ yeah right. HAHA! joking.
one really funny incident happened. there was this incident when i was walking behind the bf, and cos it was so crowded, someone acty cut in between us. HAHA and the bf was trying to reach out to hold my hand, and in the end, he acty "held" the other guy's hand. HAHAA! we had a super gd laugh. and he was even exclaiming that he was wondering why my hand suddenly became so rough. HAAHAHA! funnai!
okay gotta say i'm pretty happy these few days. :) hahas. had alota fun with the bf. :) hmmm may this happiness last ya! :)
